Diary of a Sunflower: 13 October, year 2

I’m feeling uneasy with myself at the moment. I’m not quite sure what it is that’s bothering me – or maybe I am! Maybe it’s a combination of factors that leave me feeling that my life is out of control. I’m avoiding meditating – there! I’ve admitted that out loud. Rowing with Mum is also on my mind.

    1. Thank you. The “Diary of a Sunflower” are edited exerts from my prayer journals from about twenty or so years ago. They begin at the start of my journey into Ignatian spirituality, and deeper into God and into myself. They are telling my faith story, warts and all, and I have noticed that when we listen to each other’s stories, God is also there, listening and chipping in. Thank you for reading it.

  1. Yes life can be strange
But you gave me such wise advice about forgiveness and not having to feel locked into that relationship
    And to love oneself
This side of eternity on the mortal coil unfortunately we have the ups and down.
But it is great to share with Spiritual advisor
    Margaret Mary
    Many thanks
